Welcome to the Freedom Scientific JAWS Certification Program. Its purpose is to expand your product knowledge to assist other JAWS users. We applaud your commitment to the assistive technology (AT) industry.

The Goals and Objectives of JAWS Certification

Provide JAWS education for trainers, consultants, agency staff, and JAWS users by
- Increasing general JAWS knowledge
- Expanding skills and ability into new JAWS features
- Presenting a comprehensive look at all of the free training resources provided within JAWS and online
Help JAWS trainers and consultants validate their JAWS understanding for companies, agencies, and consumers

Expected Capabilities After Successful Completion

Product installation and setup, including
- JAWS install software
- Training materials
- Synthesizers and Braille displays
Thorough understanding of location and availability of training material and resources, including
- DAISY, MP3, HTML, and help files
- Archives of free Webinars
Demonstrate product knowledge, including
- Basic to advanced JAWS skills
- Keystrokes for both laptop and desktop layout
